Each year JCIL helps over 300 families in the Disability and Deaf Community in being as independent as possible. Without home modifications such as wheelchair ramps some people are prisoners in their own home. We are fortunate to receive contributions from United Way but our state funding has been cut drastically in the past year and our request for services outnumber our funding for these services 5 to 1.
Contributions and volunteers are needed. If you are in a position to assist us in providing aid to the people with disabilities in your area, it would be greatly appreciated. The results of all cases and programs are documented for review. Presentations are also available explaining our programs and services. JCIL is an IRS registered tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency and all contributions are tax deductible. We sincerely thank you for your consideration.
