A Cooking Class for Those with Special Needs

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Location: The JCIL Café at the Jackson Center for Independent Living
Students will learn how to prepare a sumptuous Thanksgiving Dinner.
The class will include basic instructions including:
1. How to use the stove, oven, microwave, cooking utensils, and knife safety skills.
2. How to prepare and mix ingredients, read recipes, practice basics measuring skills,
and keep cooking areas sanitary.
