| The partnership of Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, Carroll Bank & Trust, Jackson Center for Independent Living, Tennessee Dept. of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities and Tennessee Housing Development Agency helps to promote safe, decent affordable housing through a program designed or low-income, first-time homebuyers with specials. A grant from Federal Home Loan Band of Cincinnati's American Dream Homeownership Challenge combines funding from TDMHDD and THDA to provide homeownership opportunities to underserved individuals. JCIL's Home Ownership Initiative helps individuals with disabilities, local banks and communithy housing providers to eliminate barriers as well as providing input which is shaping public policy. In promoting accessible housing and home ownership opportunities, JCIL continues to work with individuals and other agencies such as Affordable Housing, Community Development and area banks and realtors. This year we exceeded our goal in assisting individuals in becoming homeowners.
